Breaking Sales News: New Mangusta 104 REV Sold
09.29.21
Kitson Yachts is delighted to announce the sale and delivery of the 31.80m / 104.3ft. Mangusta REV yacht to an American buyer.
Built by Italian shipyard Overmarine Group, which is owned by the Balducci family and has been operating in the yachting industry since the 1950s, she is one of two Mangusta 104 REV models that represent a new era of the fast and sporty Mangusta Maxi Open yachts.
WHAT MAKES THE MANGUSTA 104 REV SO SPECIAL?
BEAUTY. QUALITY. RELIABILITY.
Mangusta is an internationally recognized brand that keeps evolving in style and technological solutions, while placing value on the beauty, quality and reliability of their vessels. The world-class functionality and engineering quality of their yachts ensure that this brand is enthusiastically appreciated, particularly in the US market.

AWARD-WINNING DESIGNER
The yacht’s exterior was created by the world-renowned and award-winning designer Igor Lobanov, whose Barcelona-based superyacht design studio was established in 2007. Lobanov’s designs are sculptural and modern, with a focus on proportion and integrity. Every project is considered to be as unique as its owner, embodying its own design language and style, while remaining consistent in quality and ingenuity.
As a result, the Mangusta 104 REV is elegant, sleek and contemporary. Her two MTU diesel engines provide a maximum speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots. Her interior is refined and luxurious, and she accommodates up to 10 guests in four staterooms, one of which is a full-beam owner’s stateroom, as well as four crew in two crew cabins.

Of the sale, Brandon Kummer, co-founder of Kitson Yachts, said: “I am proud of our team and this recent accomplishment. The sale and delivery of this vessel marks another important milestone for our company as we continue to serve our international clientele while working alongside respected teams like those at Mangusta and Overmarine Group.”
“We are delighted to work with the team at Kitson Yachts on this sale,” said Stefano Arlunno, president of the Americas at Mangusta Yachts. “This sale further proves that the American market is increasingly thriving.”
Indeed, sales of superyachts saw a surge in 2020, with a total of 246 yachts sold between July and December, up from 198 sold in the same period of 2019. Many brokers put this surge down to their clients seeking freedom after months of global lockdowns and restrictions, and the desire to spend time with their loved ones out on the open sea.
ON DISPLAY IN CANNES
The Mangusta was also on display at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, which took place in September. Considered the world’s most eclectic trade show, thanks to its offer of 3 to 45-metres in-water sailing- and motor-boats and under 10-metres on land, it is believed to have hosted almost 600 boats and some 430 exhibitors.
The festival is also one of the most glamorous, enjoying one of the loveliest settings in Cannes Vieux Port, one of the oldest harbours on the French Riviera, which faces the beautiful Lérins islands. After the festival, the Mangusta is due to be transported to her new home in Miami Beach. To discover more yachts for sale, contact Kitson Yachts today.
