Kitson’s Top Tips for an Exclusive Charter Experience
Kitson Yacht’s Head of Charter Management, Tina Collins, shares her top tips for designing a more exclusive charter experience, off the beaten track and away from the crowds.
Balancing Tranquility And Adventure
Chartering a yacht is the perfect way to visit some of the world’s most popular destinations and events in style, however, if you are looking to get away from the crowds and experience destinations which are off the beaten track, then our charter team has the expertise to develop a bespoke charter experience, which provides a balance between tranquility and adventure.
Hidden Gems
Whilst most clients are familiar with destinations popular amongst the crowds, our charter team has years of experience selecting destinations which provide the right balance of sophistication and privacy for our clients.
We are familiar with the Mediterranean’s most secluded beaches in Corsica, Sardinia, Croatia, Greece and more, as well as the Bahamas and Caribbean, and always recommend incorporating these destinations in your charter itinerary if you’re looking to experience untouched beaches, unrivalled snorkelling or a private beach barbecue with your friends and family.
Timing is everything
Whilst most guests choose the popular summer months to take advantage of the long sunny days, our team highly recommends taking advantage of dates just outside of the high season to guarantee a serene charter experience away from the crowds, in slightly cooler – and more comfortable – weather conditions.
Love me tender
Choosing a charter vessel which has a large tender or swifty chase boat, is a great way to reach those secluded rocky coves or beaches which aren’t so easy to get to with your main larger vessel. In addition, these smaller vessels normally provide a great opportunity to spend the day out at sea and enjoy the water sports equipment available during your charter.
