DEEP BLUE: Lürssen Yachts Latest 134m Superyacht Launched
The 134.2-metre Lürssen superyacht Deep Blue has officially launched from the renowned Lürssen shipyard in Vegesack, Bremen, Germany, as the first images of her outside the shed are revealed.
Construction on this highly confidential project began in 2021, with few details made public throughout the build. Her hull was launched in July 2023 and assembled on a floating dock, with the bow later joined to complete the structure.
The first photos of Deep Blue unveil a commanding tiered aft profile and sleek decks with pronounced overhangs. Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she features naval architecture by Lürssen and is estimated to offer approximately 9,000 GT of interior volume.
Her four-deck configuration includes twin staircases from the swim platform, hinting at a grand boarding experience. The exterior follows Lürssen’s signature styling, with clean, sheer lines stretching from bow to stern, complemented by expansive glazed surfaces that flood the interiors with natural light. Powered by eight MTU engines, Deep Blue is expected to be delivered in 2025.
